Portland, Oregon will play host to the 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game, scheduled for July 15. The 22nd annual Triple-A All-Star Game returns to a Pacific Coast League park after the PCL was victorious at the 2008 game in Louisville. The 2009 All-Star festivities will be held at PGE Park (home of the Portland Beavers), consisting of several days of exciting events and activities including a fan festival and the Home Run Derby. In the 11 years since the game changed to the current format, the Pacific Coast League holds a 6-5 edge over the International League.
